DJ KK (Karen Addison) brings a unique combination of professional entertainment experience, corporate DJ experience, television credits, radio and marketing experience, and a genuine connection to the senior community.

Her DJ experience includes the Summer R&B Jazz Series at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre in Detroit, along with performances at MotorCity Casino, Griot Music Lounge, Cambria Hotel corporate events, The Willow Speakeasy, and other community, corporate, and private events.

Before expanding her career as a DJ, DJ KK worked as a stand-up comedian and entertainer, with television credits that include HBO, MTV, Star Search, and BET’s ComicView. That entertainment background gives her the ability to do much more than play music—she knows how to engage an audience, create energy, interact with people, bring laughter into the room, and make an experience memorable.

DJ KK also serves as Marketing & Promotions Director for WGPR HOT 107.5 in Detroit, bringing years of experience in radio, music, promotions, community engagement, and live events.

Now, as a senior herself, DJ KK is bringing her experience full circle through DJ KK Therapeutic Music Services.

Her mission is simple:
